Trip the Light Fantastic is the collaboration between dancer/animator Hannah Darrah and composer/musician John Muccino. This clay animated short film is a love story told through the music of five instruments. Trip the Light Fantastic was made using a stop motion technique. The film highlights 15 clay/wire characters and 6 handmade sets, all of which were made by Hannah Darrah. This project is made possible by an Ella Fountain Pratt Emerging Artists Grant from the Durham Arts Council with support from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
